Get outdoors for the 15th Annual Turkey Trot (rain or shine) on Nov. 13 at Colonial Park in Franklin. A 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk will start at 9 am and the 5K Turkey Trok begins at 9:30 am. Registration is $20 after Nov. 6; entry fee covers participation in one or both of the races. There will be awards for the top male and female 5K finisher, and the
top 3 male and female 5K finishers in each age group. See native wild turkeys and other wildlife in their natural habitat on "Turkey Tracks" Trail Ride through the woods and meadows of Lord Stirling Stable in Basking Ridge. The ride will be at the walk and trot, weather and ground conditions permitting from 1 pm to 2 pm on Nov. 21. Registration will be from November 8 to 18 and the cost is $28 for Somerset County residents and $36 for non-residents. |
