Bergen CountyOakland Parade- The annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony, sponsored by the American Legion and the Borough of Oakland, will be held on Sunday, May 25 beginning at 1:00 PM at Grove Street and Ramapo Valley Road. The parade will close with a ceremony in Veterans’ Park. Complimentary food and refreshments will be served at the American Legion Post at 65 Oak Street immediately following the parade.

Cape May County events - posted on the county's Chamber of Commerce website Hudson CountyWeehawken - The Weehawken Memorial Day parade on Monday will begin at Gregory and Highpoint avenues at 9:30 a.m. The parade will head through town and end at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, located between El Dorado and Hudson Place on Boulevard East, where a ceremony will take place at 11 a.m.
Other Hudson County Memorial Day Events Mercer CountyHamilton Township - Two parades will take place in Hamilton. Groveville Memorial Day Parade begins at 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of South Broad Street and Sunnybrae Boulevard, continuing down South Broad Street to Yardville-Allentown Road, to Route 156, to Church Street and continuing down Church Street until its intersection with Main Street. Nottingham Way Memorial Day Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. on Nottingham Way at Shady Lane, continuing down Nottingham Way to Coleman Road, to Acres Drive and ending at Nottingham Firehouse. Lawrence Township - The Township of Lawrence will hold it's annual Memorial Day Observance on Saturday May 24 beginning with the parade at 10 am from Lawrence High School. Services to remember all those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in service of our country wil be held in Lawrence Veterans' Park at 11:30 am.

Freehold - The 140th Freehold Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 26, 2014. The parade will step off at Brinkerhoff Avenue promptly at 10 am. Warren CountyHackettstown - The American Legion Post 164 hosts thier annual Memorial Parade on Monday, May 26, 2014 kicking off at 9:30 am. The parade begins near the post office on Washington Street and continues to Grand Avenue and Main Street and ends at Union Cemetery on Mountain Avenue.
Phillipsburg - The parade will go from Main Street to Shappell Park where the events will take place at approximately 9 AM. |
