Bergen CountyRidgefield Park - festivities include a 4th of July Home & Business Decorating Contest (reg usually starts sometime in June) and on the 4th, there are a Baby & Youth Parade and a Civic parade; there will be no fireworks for 2015
Ridgewood - events include a flag-raising ceremony, parade & fireworks; fireworks at Veteran's Field in Ridgewood on July 4 (Alternate Date – Sunday, July 5th); Entrance gates open at 6:00 PM and close at 9:00 PM; While the Parade is free, Fireworks Tickets are required for entrance to Vet’s Field. Tickets can be purchased at these locations. Camden CountyHaddonfield - Independence Day fireworks will be held on July 3, 2015; Residents are welcome to watch the display from the High School field. Fireworks will begin at dusk (approximately 9:30 pm). Gates open at 7:00 pm. There is no charge for admission but donations for Haddonfield Celebrations Association are gladly accepted. Entertainment will be provided beginning at 7:30 pm by the Shore Thing. Refreshments, hot dogs and pretzels will be sold at the Lions Club tent in the end zone. Please note food and beverages are not allowed on the turf field. Similarly, no chairs are allowed on the field, blankets only.The parade will be held Saturday, July 4 beginning at 10:00 am on Kings Highway at Chestnut Street.
Cape May CountyOcean City - events include a July 4 bike parade and Ocean City Theatre Company's Spotlight Performers Show Choir will present A STAR SPANGLED SALUTE in Mark Soifer Park (9th and Asbury). A fun, energetic revue of patriotic songs will kick off at Noon and last for about 20 minutes. Admission is FREE; also on July 4 will be a Kite flying competition at 6pm followed by entertainment and then a fireworks display tops off the evening at 10:00 pm
Essex CountyBloomfield - Independence Day and Fireworks spectacular will take place on Saturday, July 4th (rain date July 5) at Foley field. Gates will open at Foley field at 5:30pm. There will be free face painting, free balloon makers, free blow up rides, various food vendors and amusements (for nominal charges). The fee to get into Foley field is ages 6 -17 = $1. ages 18 and up are $2 each. Kids 5 and under and senior citizens are free.
East Orange - Annual Independence Day Celebration, to be held on Saturday, July 4, 2015, will feature special performances, fireworks and family fun. The event is free and open to the public. The gates open at Paul Robeson Stadium at Park Avenue and North Clinton Street at 6 p.m. Show starts at 7 p.m. (Rain date July 11) Maplewood - Fourth of July events include a 5k in the morning, Kids' Bike Parade, Kids Relays, Contests, Zerbini Family Circus and live performances. The Circus and indoor events to be held July 4, rain or shine. Fireworks will start July 4 (rain date July 5) Montclair - Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks events take place on July 4, with a parade set to start at 11 am rain or shine. After the parade, there will be township family picnic from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Edgemont Park; fireworks will take place at Yogi Berra Stadium on Montclair State University campus. The stadium admission fee is $3 per person or $10 for a family, free for kids ages 5 and under. Gates open at 7:00 p.m. Free parking will be available at the Carparc Diem deck. If it rains, the fireworks will be cancelled. Nutlely - various events held on July 4 including a Fireworks Carnival starting at 5 pm. Chestnut Street will be lined with boardwalk-like games and inflatable activities followed by fireworks; There will also be a DJ on hand who will provide music and games in the Oval prior to the start of the Fireworks spectacular, at dusk. Food vendors will be displayed on Franklin Avenue with all your favorite boardwalk and carnival delights for purchase.In the event of inclement weather, the fireworks will be rescheduled for the next clear night. West Caldwell - the July 4 fireworks will begin at dusk on July 4 at the James Caldwell High School Bonnel Field; the event is sponsored by the communities of West Caldwell, Caldwell, Roseland and Essex Fells; cost is $3 per adult, and $1 for kids 12 and under; rain date is July 5. Hudson CountyHunterdon CountyDelaware Township - Great Crate Race sponsored by the Recreation Commission will be held on July 4th (Rain Date July 5th)

Freehold - The 140th Freehold Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 26, 2014. The parade will step off at Brinkerhoff Avenue promptly at 10 am. Check-in for groups marching in the parade will begin at 7:30 am at the corner of Brinkerhoff Avenue and Main Street in Freehold. Morris CountyImagine That! Warren CountyHackettstown - The American Legion Post 164 hosts thier annual Memorial Parade on Monday, May 26, 2014 kicking off at 9:30 am. The parade begins near the post office on Washington Street and continues to Grand Avenue and Main Street and ends at Union Cemetery on Mountain Avenue.
Phillipsburg - The parade will go from Main Street to Shappell Park where the events will take place at approximately 9 AM. |
