Upcoming Historic EventsHistoric Princeton Walking Tour (Princeton) - 2 pm to 4 pm on Jan 11, Jan 18 & Jan. 25 and Feb. 8, 15, and 22. Enjoy a 1.9 mile, two-hour walk around downtown Princeton and the University campus as you learn about historic sites in the area, including Bainbridge House, Nassau Hall, the University Chapel and Palmer Square. $7 per adult; $4 children ages 6 to 12; free for children age 5 and under. Tickets are sold at Bainbridge House, 158 Nassau Street, starting at 12 PM; space is limited.
Battle of Bound Brook (Bound Brook) - April 11 & 12; activities will include Drilling and Street Battle reenactments, historic house tours and other special programs Annual Historic Events in New JerseyJourney Through the Past - for one special weekend every October, historic sites in Somerset County that aren't always open to the public are available for visits; activities for children at various locations
Battle of Bound Brook (Bound Brook) - re-enactors and historians will bring the Middlebrook encampments of 1777–1779 to life every April; other weekend activities include historic house tours, lectures, demonstrations Lord Stirling 1770s Festival (Basking Ridge) - every first Sunday of October, step back in time at the Environmental Education Center Victorian Week (Cape May) - early or mid-October; 10-day extravaganza of tours and events that celebrate the Victorian lifestyle Annual Reenactment of the Battle of Monmouth (Manalapan) - Each year the Friends of Monmouth Battlefield co-sponsors, with the DEP, State of New Jersey, an annual reenactment of the battle. The event is usually held on a weekend towards the end of June, in commemoration of the anniversary of the battle being fought on June 28, 1778. Four Centuries in a Weekend (Union County) - visit historic sites throughout Union County; held a weekend in October Historic Programs for Kids in New Jersey
