The Wildwoods 9th Annual Family Holiday Celebration begins Friday evening December 9 with the Greater Wildwood Jaycees’ Christmas Parade. Registration begins at 5:00pm at the North Wildwood Recreation Center (10th and Central Avenues). Lineup begins at 5:30pm and the parade starts promptly at 6:00pm. The rain date is Sunday December 11.
The festival begins Friday evening following the parade, with the Tree Lighting Ceremony. Then crowds gather inside the Wildwoods Convention Center to warm up with hot chocolate and cookies and acknowledge the parade and the business decorating and lighting contest winners at the Award Ceremony. The celebration continues all day Saturday with family fun, pictures with Santa and holiday bazaar. Celebrate the season of giving by bringing donations of non-perishable food items, new toys, and gently used coats. Different themed activities featured each December weekend makes visiting extra exciting! Storybook Land in Egg Harbor Township is where Santa comes up his chimney to wave his magic wand to light the spectacular display of thousands of lights for the Holiday Season. At 5 pm, through December 23, Santa will light the Park and he and Mrs. Claus will be in their chalet to greet children (weather permitting). The display of more than one million lights will be open to visitors through December 30 (weather permitting).
There will be a Parade of Lights starting at 7:30 pm December 9 in Collingswood. Fire trucks and floats decorated with lights will start at Zane Avenue and head to Homestead Avenue. Santa will be on the last truck to greet children and spectators. Hotsy Totsy will be strolling the Avenue singing from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Holiday Lights on the Farm at Schaefer Farms in Flemington. Bring your family for a drive through light display. View thousands of colorful farm and holiday themed lights from the comfort of your own vehicle. Twinkling and glowing for your enjoyment from Thanksgiving through New Years. Holiday Lights on The Farm is open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays 5:30 until 9:00pm and Fridays & Saturdays 5:30 until 10:00pm. The cost is $12.00 per carload, $17.00 per passenger van, and $27.00 per busload. Purchase a season pass for $45.00 per car load and enjoy the show again and again.
Santa Claus will be visiting the farm from 6:00 - 8:00PM Fridays and Sundays, and 6:00 - 9:00PM Saturdays the first three weekends in December, with an additional appearance on December 23rd. Photos with Santa available. Bring your family to visit him so he knows what they want under your tree. Experience Turtle Back Zoo in the winter as 100,000 bulbs and 40 lit displays illuminate the zoo this holiday season!

Chester Christmas Tree Lighting 5:00 pm Location: Gazebo Park (Municipal Field) Main Street, Chester, NJ Santa's pre-Christmas trip to Chester at Gazebo Park! Performance by the local high school band as they ring in the season with Christmas carols. Cookies and hot drinks will be served as we wait for Santa to arrive on a Chester Fire Engine. |
